Cons: Homework with the group thing I always forgot to do that.
review sessions
Cons: hard exams
doesnt explain material very well
Cons: He is opinionated and flat out rude.
ex. A student from the Red Cross came in, passing around a petition, as they need 10,000 signiatures to get a "Donate to Red Cross" button on the Oncourse page when you register at orientation. (Just like dance marathon.)
Peter decided to rip up ever single sheet of signiatures this poor boy already had and threw them in the trash, yelled at the boy, and made him leave. There is no way to describe to the extent of how rude this really was unless you were there. So rude.
If you don't want to be stereotyped by your race, your outfit, or religion, sit in the back.
Beware, he'll kick you out of class for texting.
Will thoroughly explain a problem if you ask a question
Cons: Sometimes the wording is difficult to interpret on tests as well as in his notes
Includes a lot of additional notes that aren't always necessary
WebWork can be difficult at times, most assignments are long (15-20 problems)
Cons: Slow sometimes
Heavy reading necessary for this class.
Cons: The exams were more difficult than expected.
Cons: Tests are often not reflective of class work
Cons: His tests are extremely tricky and his views quite one-sided.
This class is hard. Make sure you TAKE ADVANTAGE of office hours, help from the TAs, extra credit projects, and collaborative learning sessions. Don't get lazy. You'll be sorry.
Cons: The material is just very hard to get used to
good teacher
fun lecture
Cons: work is difficult
stay on top of work
great teacher
hard class
Cons: Exercises in class often differ from problems on exam
Good extra cred
Cons: His tests are tougher than the other teachers
Cons: - tests are hard
- rarely available for help
I didnt like his teaching style. I never understood what he was talking about in class and had to rely heavily on the book.
Makes subject interesting
Nice guy
Cons: Hard tests
Poor explanation of subject at times
smart as hell
helpful
funny
Cons: Need to attend class and go to CL if you want to maximize your possible grade in the course.
Great professor for econ. Get him if you can because he somehow has a way of making this stuff interesting and fun to learn.
Cons: i hated econ, so i didnt like him much as a teacher, but hes a really cool guy
Cons: Hard test
Cons: You only get like 4 grades in the class and they are all exams. On top of that, the exams are fairly difficult.
Cons: Lectures can drag on, and CLs are not as helpful as they could be.
Study the practice exams well.
